- Plant Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the asphalt manufacturing plant.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Production Management:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to optimize production and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and order raw materials as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of asphalt products.
- Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and provide leadership to plant staff, including operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
- Train and develop employees to enhance skills and performance.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asphalt manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong understanding of asphalt production processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage production schedules and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred but not required.
