    Description
    U. S. Steel values diversity in the workplace and is looking for a dedicated Plant Reliability Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the reliability of equipment assets to world-class standards and promoting knowledge sharing among operational units.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Lead the implementation of Maintenance Reliability strategies
    • Develop and execute improvement programs across Maintenance and Reliability functions
    • Provide technical support for Preventative/Predictive Programs and Maintenance Planning Processes
    • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and system maintainability studies
    • Analyze operational delays and drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Prepare progress reports and support business unit metrics
    • Collaborate with support groups to meet Business Plan objectives
    • Ensure consistent practices across Operating facilities
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must have a B.S. in Engineering, 4-year Technical Degree, or equivalent maintenance experience
    • Compensation based on experience
    • Safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing
