    Job Description

  • Manage all aspects of legal recruiting processes including Summer Associate/OCI (On-Campus Interviews), lateral attorney, partner recruiting, and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) functions.
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top legal talent, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and conduct Summer Associate programs, including orientation, training, and evaluation processes.
  • Organize and execute OCI programs at various law schools, including scheduling interviews, managing logistics, and representing the firm to prospective candidates.
  • Lead lateral attorney and partner recruiting efforts, collaborating with hiring partners and practice group leaders to identify staffing needs and target candidates.
  • Oversee the CLE program, including identifying relevant training opportunities, managing accreditation requirements, and tracking attorney compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law school career services offices, legal industry organizations, and other recruitment resources to enhance the firm's visibility and attract diverse talent.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to enhance the firm's competitive advantage in the legal marketplace.
  • Manage a team of recruiting professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in legal recruiting to continually improve recruitment processes and strategies.

    The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in legal recruiting, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal recruiting processes, including OCI, lateral hiring, and partner recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, attorneys, and firm leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience managing teams and driving recruitment initiatives.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CLE requirements and accreditation processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency with recruiting software and other relevant technology tools.
