    TRISTAR is seeking an Logistics Management Specialist IV for our government customer located in Crane, IN


    Position Description:

    • The Logistics Management Specialist IV primarily requirements are, but not limited to, management support and execution of logistic objectives for acquisitions technical data package development/submission, technical documentation update and maintenance Operator/Maintainer technical manual and training documentation support, and support for installation pre-planning requirements. Additionally, identifying, gathering, and developing an OPUS database to support Reliability Based Sparing modeling and LORA

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide proficient knowledge and ability to update, review and provide comment, as logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME), on logistics documentation
    • Annual documentation to include, but not limited to: Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Maintenance Plan, Acquisition Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)/Obsolescence Plans, Failure Review Board Plans, Quick Reference Guides, Training Packages, Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Variance, Design Change Notices and Nomenclature Assignments
    • Collect data and input for development of analytical support for a Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Based Sparing (RBS) model and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) for systems, subsystems for the AN/SAY-3 utilizing product support optimization software for data entry where data has been provided by the SME
    • Be proficient using Microsoft Project for the preparation and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for IStalker annual project deliverables and tasking which include, but not limited to: Project Schedule, identification of annual tasks, key milestones, critical path items, task relationships, and deliverables
    • IMS shall be updated weekly to support programmatic In-Process Reviews (IPRs) and Product Support Working Groups

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum of 15+ years' experience in DoD Logistics, Acquisition, Installation and Program Support
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Products Office (Project, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, VISIO and Word)
    • Must be a US Citizen
    • An active Secret Clearance or investigation in process is required

    Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree desired or 9-12 years experience performing Acquisition Logistics for the DOD
