Job SummarySummary:
Gulf Coast Medical Center is seeking Certified Wound Care RN. One of the following certs is required specifically from WOCN.

• Certified Wound and Ostomy RN
• Certified Ostomy Nurse (willing to test for wound certification)
• Certified Wound Ostomy Continence RNCoordinates and provides enterostomal and wound care services at assigned LMHS campuses.

Provides directly or serves as a consultant for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient's wounds, ostomy, and continence care. Provides education to patients, family and staff.


Job Requirements Responsibilities:

Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursingExperience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/and/or Minimum requirement : fully certified wound care nurses will be considered.

Preferred but not required. 3 Years Enterostomal Therapy State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/Preferred and/or Registered Nurse License Required Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/Preferred and/or BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
