    Description

    Job Description:

    Summary of Position: Will perform the daily set-up and preparation of components and/or weldments utilizing TIG and MIG in a variety of materials including stainless and aluminum.

    Track and electronically record duties. Utilize blueprints for set-up and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Proven ability to TIG and MIG weldProven ability to read and utilize blueprints to complete tasksAbility to use standard measuring devicesInspect finished productAbility to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

    Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve to meet delivery dates within project hoursUtilize knowledge and skills in the following areas:
    Electrical assemblyHydraulic assemblyPneumaticGeneral assembly proceduresGeneral equipment maintenanceOperate forklift, hoist and cranesAdhere to company policies and safety requirementsOther duties as assignedSkills and Abilities:Requires the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organizationStrong collaborative and accommodation tendenciesAbility to multi-task, managing a wide variety of priorities simultaneously with limited supervisionComputer literate, with experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and ERP (familiarity with Epicor a definite plus)

    Effective written & verbal communication skills are requiredQualifications:
    High School diploma, or equivalent, and successful completion of an internal welding test. Three to five years' experience in various forms of welding preferred.
