Power BI Developer
6+ month contract
McKinney, TX (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Power BI Developer who are lead the effort of utilizing Power BI to build and maintain BI models and solutions.
This person will build dashboards for Project Work that shows statuses.
Also, build dashboards around payroll that executives can review and use for presentations.
Use Azure Analysis Service model to create Power BI reports for any of the business needs.
Ensure data integrity throughout the reporting process and receive stamp of approval from end users and SMEs of the projects.
Requirements -
4 + years recent experience in Power BI Development of thin reports and dashboards.
Advanced Power BI skills in DAX, measures, bookmarks, layouts, storytelling, and design practices.
Knowledge in T-SQL (basic). *Needs to be able to at minimum write VIEWs with CTEs.
Knowledge in Data Models. Full understanding data relationships.
Experience in Tabular Editor and Semantic Models.
Strong communication skills. Will need to meet via Teams with business partners all over the world. Will need to be flexible in accommodating to their needs.
Knowledge of basic Data Transformation and Integration Processes.
Solid scoping and project management skills to deliver timely results.
Fundamental business understanding. Needs to be able to interpret business needs and provide accurate answers.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find unique and practical solutions.
