Summary:
The Mid Test Engineer, Salesforce (Quality Assurance) role assesses software quality through manual and automated testing. The tester coordinates and executes test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures and scripts. The tester must create test reports. The test engineer must be able to test IT software. The tester is responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, the tester should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. The tester must develop and execute test cases and be passionate about quality. Ultimately, the tester will ensure that products, applications and systems work correctly.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or technical disciplineRequired Years of Experience: 2-5 years, or 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for educationResponsibilities:Review and analyze system specificationsCollaborate with Business Analysts, Test Engineers and Test Planners/Managers to develop effective strategies and test plansExecute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze resultsEvaluate product code according to specificationsCreate logs to document testing phases and defectsReport bugs and errors to development teamsHelp troubleshoot issuesConduct post-release/ post-implementation testingWork with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleWillingness to attain Eggplant Automation Functional CertificationsWillingness to attain Salesforce Certifications (Admin 1 and/or App Builder)

Minimum Requirements:
Experience in QA/test methodologyAbility to document and troubleshoot errorsExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailAnalytical mind and problem-solving aptitudeExcellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testingCMMI Maturity Level 3, ISO 9001:2015 or 9001:2001, and ITIL experienceExperience with Salesforce PlatformSalesforce Certifications (Admin 1 and/or App Builder)VA or other Federal Government experienceHas high standards, results oriented, and a commitment to delivering high quality software on timeExperience with Automated Testing, preferably Eggplant.
