    Operations Manager Position

    We are seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced organizational environment.

    About America On Tech

    America On Tech is a national nonprofit organization that prepares the next generation of technology leaders from underestimated communities. We provide high-quality no-cost tech education, skills development, and workforce readiness starting with high school youth in various cities across the United States.

    Responsibilities:

    • Finance & Operations Support (40% of time)
      • Process weekly invoices and contractor payments
      • Help manage the AP expense tracker
      • Coordinate HR tasks, including sourcing, interviews, and contracts
      • Maintain and modify internal contract templates and guidelines
      • Prepare spreadsheets and onboard students/contractors to online payment systems
      • Handle large mailings and maintain filing systems
      • Provide operational support to program and development teams
    • Marketing & Events Support (30% of time)
      • Manage external communications content calendar using AI-powered tools
      • Collaborate with programs and development departments to create social media posts and newsletters
      • Track performance through a metrics dashboard
      • Develop and update digital materials for AOT's annual Innovators and Disruptors Awards
    • Executive Support (20% of time)
      • Provide administrative assistance to the CEO and President
      • Coordinate travel arrangements and create itineraries
      • Support leadership team in preparation for staff, board, and committee meetings
    • General (10%):
      • Contribute to standard operating procedures and improve quality and efficiency
      • Work cross-functionally with all departments and leadership to support AOT's future

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience
      • 3+ years management and/or administrative experience in education, nonprofit, or comparable field
      • Detail-oriented and project management experience
      • Data-driven mindset and strong communication skills
      • Ability to lead and thrive in a startup environment
