- Ability to trouble-shoot mechanical problems involved with screw machines
- Able to use shop mathematics, drawings, and measuring tools
- Set up and run Screw Machines

Dixon is looking for a Screw Machinist to join our team in Westmont, IL. Candidate will be operating two Acme Gridley screw machines simultaneously. Candidate should have previous experience on screw machines. Should be able to use tools, read blueprints and have familiarity with parts inspection. Applicants should be able to maintain a clean and safe work area, and must be able to follow all processes and procedures related to machine operations and inspections. Individuals must be open to perform other duties as required to support manufacturing processes. Three+ years of experience is preferred.
