    Description


    Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Bilingual Speech Therapist - Axion is looking for NY-State Licensed Speech Language Pathologists to join schools across New York City. We offer different shifts and the flexibility of hybrid work. Whether you are a recent grad or an experienced SLP, we welcome your application.



    As a full-time SLP, you'll be part of a team that helps students in various locations to enhance their speech and language abilities, contributing to their personal, social, and academic growth.



    This role involves:
    • Providing students with clear instructions both inside and outside the classroom to enhance their language, comprehension, and communication skills.
    • Evaluating students' social and developmental needs through assessments.
    • Supporting teachers in adapting curriculum and classroom strategies.
    • Working closely with students to reinforce lesson plans.
    • Engaging in team and professional development sessions.

    To be eligible for these positions, candidates need a New York State Speech Language Pathologist License, a New York State Education Department certification, a Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certificate, a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology, the ability to work in person and remotely, and being bilingual is a bonus.
