    Join a rapidly growing Industrial Electrical Contractor in the Greater Chicagoland Area as an Industrial Electrical Foreman.

    This contractor has a strong backlog of Industrial Retrofit/Upgrade projects in the Greater Chicago Market and is seeking career-driven individuals to support their growth and expansion into new-build projects.

    Position Title: Industrial Electrical Foreman

    Position Summary:

    The Industrial Electrical Foreman oversees the installation, maintenance, and field retrofit/upgrades of electrical systems in industrial settings. Additionally, they provide job/project/task oversight for Electricians and Journeyman Electricians.

    Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Lead all start-of-day Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
    • Order materials and tools for responsible jobs.
    • Organize and direct daily work/training for job crew employees.
    • Ensure job site cleanliness at the end of each workday.
    • Comply with job safety standards.
    • Attend coordination meetings and safety meetings as required.
    • Apply knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
    • Install and troubleshoot electrical components.
    • Use a variety of testing devices and tools.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of Foreman experience on Electrical Construction projects in an industrial setting.
    • Competency to oversee projects up to $1M in Electrical Budget.
    • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
    • Knowledge of control circuitry and single-line diagrams.
    • Familiarity with NEC and OSHA safety standards.
    • Understanding of state and local regulations.
    • Local licenses and certification preferred.
    • Physical capability for lifting, walking, climbing, and bending.
    • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.
    • Available to work within a 50-mile radius of Greater Chicagoland Area.

    Pay Transparency:

    A reasonable pay scale estimation for this position is $43/hour to $48/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications and job requirements.
