- Assist students in a behavior setting, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Monitor student progress and behavior, documenting observations as required.
- Facilitate student engagement in classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Support the primary caregiver in handling supplies for any toileting needs. Note: The primary caregiver will conduct the toileting process, and the Paraprofessional will observe. There will always be two people present during these procedures.
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a relevant school setting is required.
- Experience working in a behavior setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated to supporting the educational needs of students.
