Who you are:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Surgical Telemetry Unit at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you enjoy the fast pace of a busy acute care unit You will care for pre and post op vascular, pulmonary and telemetry monitored patients- some transferring from PCU and ICU. You will be part of a team that is known for being a Bariatric Center of Excellence You will also be trained through AACN for Cardiac Monitoring

This is a Per Diem position, working on an as needed basis to provide you with an option to be employed on a casual basis. In a 6 week time period, you are required to work a minimum of 32 hours,16 of those on the weekend. This unit schedules 12 hour shifts. Shifts variable (D, E, N), depending on unit needs

What you'll do:

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
• Employing your critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes

• Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting plan of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the CMC.

• You will serve as a mentor for your team
• You'll have the opportunity to join various clinical committees to help drive exceptional care and create positive outcomes for our patients

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

• 1+ years of experience as a RN
• Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred
• Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
• BSN strongly preferred
