Intensivist opening in VermontLocated in Rutland, VTFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Critical Care doctor to join hospital.

• The unit is a 13 bed multidisciplinary Medical-Surgical unit.
• The Critical Care team consists of 2.

5 Intensivist FTEs and 3 Critical Care Advanced Practice Clinician FTEs.

• The Intensivists function as the attendings for all Medical ICU admissions, and as consultants/co managers for all Surgical ICU admissions.
• We provide primary in house day coverage, consult for the ED and inpatient services, and serve as a backup resource for the night in house Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• The right candidate will support trainee education and supervision for ICU rotations from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and various PA and NP programs.
• A Clinical appointment at the University of Vermont College of Medicine is available.
• The ICU has experienced nursing representation, strong respiratory care support, and a clinical pharmacist and nutritionist as part of the ICU team.
• We also have an active palliative care support service integrated into our system of care.
• We use the Cerner EMR and the GE PACS system.
