    We are looking for a Sr QA Engineer for our IT department at our corporate office in Dallas, TX and Buena Park, CA. This position involves working within a group responsible for supporting application software testing, software integration and configuration management tasks to assure customer satisfaction with application accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborates in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.
    • Responsible for performing risk and impact analysis and making recommendations for associated solutions
    • Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes
    • Executes system and regression tests
    • Creates test data and maintains regression test suites.
    • Good knowledge of SQL and TFS
    • Good knowledge of automation test tools
    • Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches
    • Responsible for developing strategies to improve and automate certain procedures during implementation and testing phases
    • Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
    • Mentors junior team members on applications and job functions
    • Represents management or lead at status and technical meetings, as needed

    Qualifications

    • Works under minimal supervision. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience
    • Accounting background required
    • Good knowledge of relevant computing platforms and automated test tools
    • Intermediate knowledge level of C#/SQL
    • Good knowledge of multiple department applications, subsystems, and functions
    • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies
    • Good knowledge of company and department standards
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Strong project and time management skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to a diverse range of customers
    • Must be able to maintain a healthy work environment

    The range in California for this position is $95,000 - $120,000. Actual starting compensation may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, and skills.
