Senior Project Manager


Location:
Onsite 3 days/week in Golden Valley, MN

Duration: 9-12 month contract, likely to extend

We are hiring a Sr. Project Manager that has experience managing a platform build/migration-integration or readiness program.


Essential Functions:
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

Deliver projects that meet business requirements on time and within budget.

Create a communication plan that includes both internal and external project communication documents, meetings, and reporting requirements.

Work with functional managers to assure complete and appropriate resourcing.

Manage the project from initiation through delivery and closure.

Interface with project stakeholders to manage expectations.

Manage issues and risks from identification to resolution.

Manage the project budget.

Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements:
Demonstrated communication and influencing skills.

Experience in managing stakeholders

Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.

Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Project Server

Financial and Insurance Product Industry Experience is a plus

Agile Methodology knowledge is a plus


Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus

PMP certification or other formal project management training required.

Must have at least three years project management or program management experience.
