Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 47 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Mexico. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 9,500 miles of pipeline and over 100 terminals.This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which serve approximately 10,000 convenience stores, independent dealers, commercial customers, and distributors.

Summary:
To perform maintenance on rotating equipment and gather vibration data on rotating equipment throughout the Sunoco LP system in a safe and effective manner.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily.
The requirements for this position are listed below:
Provide maintenance on a variety of rotating equipment including PD plunger pumps, overhung centrifugal booster pumps, vertical process canpumps and multi-stage centrifugal mainline pumps.
Responsible for setting new equipment and commissioning these new pump packages including laser alignment of the equipment and baseline vibration readings.
Assist in determining root cause failure analysis on rotating equipment.Take scheduled vibration analysis on equipment and forward data to Sr Manager of Rotating Equipment.
Responsible for assigned service truck which includes Auto Crane, compressor, hand tools and vibration/laser alignment equipment.
Providing maintenance support across Sunoco LP's assets will require 90% travel in service truck, including possible overtime and occasional weekend and holidays worked.
DOT driving, which includes electronic logging and obeying all DOT driving laws applyAttend all safety training, complete all safety training modules and work in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Safety will be the most important part of this job requirement.
May perform other related duties as needed.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To Perform This Job Successfully, An Individual Must Be Able To Perform Each Essential Job Duty Satisfactorily.
The Requirements For This Position Are Listed Below:
Basic understanding of mechanical makeup of engines and pumps preferred.
Machinist experience and equipment mechanical vibration knowledge preferred.
Ability to wear all appropriate personal protection equipment, such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, flame-resistant clothing, hearing protection, respirator/breathing apparatus, and/or fall protection, as required by the job activities.
Ability to use or operate the hand tools, power tools, precision tools, measurement devices and other tools or equipment required by the job activities.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret and analyze data
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office suite.

Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment
Frequent heavy lifting with and without assistance
Work on and around equipment and facilities that require knowledge of and adherence to safe work procedures and practices
Subject to call-outs to respond to operational issues and emergencies after working hours, at night, and on weekends and holidays
Reliable attendance at work
Occasional overnight travel may be required
