    • Complete the Role of Supervisors Training series (not applicable to the temp)
    • Offer training sessions and expand those sessions to include other groups impacted by his section. Offer support and guidance to employees when needed.
    • Create work orders as necessary for sewer main and sewer service line televising: Prepare work assignments for the crews when Engineering Aide III is absent.
    • Hold meetings with the I&I Group to establish more uniform work order completion and expectations. Discuss prevailing issues, issues requiring repairs, and resource needs. Coordinate with other sections as necessary to initiate repairs, have sewer line jetted for CCTV, etc.
    • Follow up with customers with issues by phone. Communicate with customers about the results of the CCTV inspections of their sewer laterals by explaining whether the stoppage is on the County or the private portion of the lateral.
    • Review CCTV footage from our annual contractor and identify immediate needs; make necessary recommendations for repairs of issues found.
    • Use GIS for planimetric assessment and locate sewer laterals in the field.
    • With the help of our Design Division, learn to link CCTV data to GIS elements to keep our POSM Asset Observation interface current.
    • Work with the Construction Division and your supervisor to understand the CCTV contract.
    • Spend time in the field to observe the easement clearing pipe cleaning and CCTV work done by the annual contractors and DPU Operations staff to better understand how things are done.
    • Get 300,000 linear feet of sewer pipe cleaned and CCTV-inspected by the annual contractor each calendar year for MS4/NPDES requirements. Grow a relationship with the CCTV Annual contract manager in the Construction Division. Coordinate with them and your supervisor.
    • Prepare maps for work assignment to the CCTV annual contractor and the Annual Easement clearing contractor. You can learn or enhance your GIS mapping skills in-house.
    • Make the supervisor and or Assistant Director fully aware of any problems or potential problems that may arise within your section. Develop memos or written documents to notify different sections or divisions of areas or locations with sewer problems or concerns
