ASAPDuration: Perm FTE HireLocation: Montvale, NJDescription:Our Cient is seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join their Digital Products team at our Corporate Headquarters in Montvale, NJ.

Your role as a QA Automation Engineer is to write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code.

To ensure success as a QA automation engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to write efficient test procedures for every software application.

ResponsibilitiesWrite, design, and execute automated functional and performance tests and by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.

Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of each Digital ProductDetermine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.

Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test casesBuild Robust test automation frameworksLog and document bugs in JiraWork with Digital Product Owners and Technical Leads to triage defects found by automated testing according to business impact.

Set up Continuous Integration for regression and performance tests.

Perform exploratory testing to understand product functionality and the end user experienceTrain and guide junior QA team members in all aspects of QA AutomationQualificationsdegree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university is Automation experience is requiredin e-commerce applications is a mustexperience with offshore/nearshore/onshore model is a pluswith Agile methodology is preferredprogramming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Javascript, Pythonin building and maintaining web test automation frameworks preferably using or web performance testing API, Web testing principles and tools.examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processesdetail oriented is required as you will test web and mobile applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problemsverbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errorsanalytical and problem-solving interpret complex business requirements and encapsulate business logic/rules into reusable libraries.ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize, and execute tasks while under pressure.working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.communication skills.
