- Coordinate holistic student wellness programming and activities as guided by the Director
- Organize the social service fair and other outreach events to educate students on wellness and mental health topics and connect them with related resources
- Perform administrative duties for Student Counseling Services and manage office operations
- Serve as first line student triage, assessing immediacy of students' needs and responding accordingly
- Serve as advisor to the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) student organization
- Manage records and data, including those for confidential and sensitive materials
- Bachelor's degree or appropriate experience/education
- Knowledge of and/or experience working in the medical/wellness field or comparable experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work inclusively within a diverse campus community, including with students experiencing mental health distress
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and effectively manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field
- Experience working with college students
- Knowledge and experience in student development theory or other student personnel issues

Description
We seek applicants for a full-time position to coordinate and perform functions related to student counseling and wellness initiatives as guided by the Director of Student Counseling Services. The Coordinator will assist with implementation and tracking of the Mental Health Early Action on Campus Act, coordinate the College's Food Pantry and Therapy Dog program, and oversee front office operations of Student Counseling Services.

EMPLOYEE LEAVE
Vacation: 20 days per year with a maximum annual carry-over of 40 days
Sick Leave: 12 days per year with unlimited annual carry-over
Holidays: 12 designated paid holidays plus 3 paid floating days
HCC is closed from Christmas Eve Day through New Year's Day generally resulting in 2-3 additional paid days
