Job Description:

The Expeditor at Creole Connection plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. This role is responsible for coordinating food orders to ensure they are delivered promptly and prepared accurately.

Responsibilities:

1. Order Coordination: Work closely with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate orders, ensuring that meals are prepared in the correct order and delivered to the correct table.
2. Quality Control: Check dishes before they leave the kitchen for correct plating, presentation, and temperature.
3. Communication: Act as the primary point of communication between the front of house and back of house staff.
4. Efficiency: Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area.
5. Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of our menu items to answer any questions from kitchen staff or servers.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
2. Attention to Detail: Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential for coordinating with staff and managing orders.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly solve issues that may arise during service.
5. Team Player: Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for extended periods.
2. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
