    Job Description

    The Project Manager I (PMI) reports to the Program Manager and will support and contribute to the planning and execution of projects under the guidance of senior project management professionals. This position involves coordinating project activities, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within defined parameters.

    Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

    Business Strategy
    • Assist in the development of project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Contribute to the identification of key project milestones and deliverables.
    • Support the definition of project goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Support the identification and assessment of project risks.
    • Assist in the development of mitigation strategies for identified risks.
    • Address and escalate project issues in a timely manner.
    • Assist in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
    • Support the documentation and approval process for changes.
    Performance, Metrics Reporting
    • Assist in the allocation of resources to meet project requirements.
    • Contribute to monitoring project budgets and resource utilization.
    • Provide support in optimizing resource allocation.
    • Support the adherence to project management best practices.
    • Contribute to understanding customer needs and expectations.
    • Assist in ensuring project outcomes align with customer expectations.
    • Engage in professional development activities to enhance project management skills.
    • Collaborate with senior project management professionals to learn and apply best practices.
    • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
    People Management
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams.
    • Provide support to team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
    • Execute tasks and assignments as directed by senior project management.
    • Aid in maintaining open communication with project stakeholders.
    • Contribute to regular project updates to stakeholders and team members.
    • Assist in addressing concerns and resolving minor conflicts.
    Knowledge, Skills Experience

    The ideal candidate for the Project Manager I position will have the following educational background and experience:
    • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business, Engineering, etc.).
    • Entry-level experience in project management or a related field.
    • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
