- The CRNA is responsible for conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations.
- Prepare health history and conduct physical exams.
- Request necessary diagnostic studies and administer pre-anesthetic medications.
- Perform preoperative and intraoperative care, ensuring patient safety throughout.
- Manage airways, insert peripheral venous catheters, and oversee Bier Blocks.
- Utilize appropriate monitoring techniques and evaluate patient responses post-anesthesia.
- Provide respiratory and cardiovascular support during the post-anesthesia period.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Hold board certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Valid medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a CRNA.
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.

The hospital collaborates with its affiliates, including Rockingham VNA & Hospice and Core Physicians, to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.
Position Summary
Closer to a 1:5 ratio for CRNAs. Paper intra-op charting is required, with EMR for pre-op and orders. Shifts available from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, 5 AM until 3:30 PM, 8 AM until 3:30 PM, 5 AM until 5:30 PM, and 2 PM until 7:30 PM. Offering $250 weekly for car rental and $125 daily for lodging/housing.
