Our ideal candidate for this dynamic and challenging role will be responsible for the following tasks outlined below.

    RESPONSIBILITIESOverseeing of Geotechnical Engineering Project Budget and ScheduleResponsible for supervision/oversight of field and laboratory sampling and testingMay require some field and laboratory work from time to timeTraining of staff level personnelContracting/Negotiating of projects with vendors and clientsProject lead for Construction Materials Testing and Forensic ProjectsApproving Vendor Invoices, Building T&M InvoicesReviewing of Geologic Research/Geotechnical Reports by othersGeotechnical Report preparation and reviewReview of lab and field data from othersEnsure on-time report deliveryClient interactions/Responses to RFI'sQUALIFICATIONSPertinent Engineering degree requiredProfessional Civil Engineer Certification in State of Texas requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to read, write, speak and comprehend EnglishMust be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephoneVisual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screenRequires frequent bending, reaching, and standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.

    Field work including hand-augers, infiltration tests, logging and sampling of soil borings, will be needed from time to timeLaboratory work, including lifting and moving soil samples and lab equipment, sieving of soils and aggregate, etc.
