    Full-time Benefit Package

    Shift: 7:30-5:00 M/W/Th/Fr and 7:30-11:00 Tues

    **$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for external candidates


    Responsibilities

    Join an amazing team at a nationally recognized Top Place to Work in Healthcare As a Certified Medical Assistant with Huxley Family Med, you will provide hands on patient care in a team-based environment.

    1. Clinical Support:
      • Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
      • Record patient vitals, medical history, and other relevant information accurately.
      • Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician.
      • Conduct basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
    2. Patient Care:
      • Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
      • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing clear instructions.
      • Assist in patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
    3. Administrative Tasks:
      • Schedule appointments, tests, and referrals for patients.
      • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
      • Handle phone calls, inquiries, and coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
    4. Medical Equipment and Supplies:
      • Prepare and maintain examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
      • Ensure the proper functioning and cleanliness of medical equipment.

    Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Completion of a Medical Assistant program. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Mandatory Reporter training.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
