Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer operates, repairs, and maintains the physical plant as well as other hospital equipment/systems in a safe cost effective and industry accepted manner.
Work Schedule:
1.0 FTE. Day shifts. Includes every other weekend rotation
Required Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license in the state of employee residence and meet all criteria required under Lakeview's Automobile Liability Guidelines.
Good customer service, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude skills, and able to change or reprioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet our patients/building needsBasic computer and email skills
Must have any ONE of the following at

Chief A
Chief B
1st Class A
1st Class B
Or, require a combination of BOTH as follows at
HIRE:
Chief C + 2nd Class A
Chief C + 2nd Class B
1st Class C + 2nd Class A
1st Class C + 2nd Class B
Or, require the combination of the following with CONTINGENCY within 18 months of hire date:
Chief C + completion of 2nd Class B license
1st Class C + completion of 2nd Class B license
Special Engineers license + 2nd Class B license
Or, require the combination of the following with CONTINGENCY within 3 years of hire date:
2nd Class A + completion of 1st Class B
1st Class C + completion of 2nd Class A
2nd Class B + completion of 1st Class B
2nd Class C + 2nd Class A + completion of 1st Class C
2nd Class C + 2nd Class A + completion of 1st Class B
2nd Class C + 2nd Class B + completion of 1st Class B
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical school training in plant operations/building maintenance and/or HVAC
1-year experience in the operation of H.V.A.C., refrigeration, electrical
