    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care Unit night shift assignment in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Position is in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital setting
    • Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week
    • Patient population consists of critically ill adults
    • Assignment is 12 weeks in duration
    • May be considered local with a reduced rate depending on the radius rule
    • Responsibilities include caring for critically ill patients and collaborating with the critical care team
    • Travelers are eligible for auto offer positions
    • COVID vaccination is not required
    • Orientation and training will be provided based on unit needs
    • Local candidates are accepted but may be offered a reduced pay rate depending on distance from the facility
    • RTO requests should be included at the time of application

    Requirements

    • Active IL RN license required
    • Minimum of 2 years recent ICU/Critical Care experience
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
    • Must provide Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
    • Must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
    • Copy of driver's license required
    • Two professional references required
