    Salary range:
    The salary for this position is $70,800. The posted UC salary scales set the

    minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan.

    This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

    Position description



    The Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine is anticipating openings for physicians in its various divisions. These openings will be at the level of Clinical Instructor in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenured).

    Divisions include:

    Adolescent Medicine * Genetics/Metabolic Disorders * Pediatric Neurology

    Allergy/Immunology * Hematology/Oncology * Child/Adolescent Psychiatry

    Cardiology * Infectious Diseases * Pulmonary * Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine * Pediatric Surgery * Endocrinology

    Nephrology * Pediatric Urology * General Pediatrics

    Exercise Medicine * Medical Education

    Requirements include: M.D. or M.D/Ph.D. and/or equivalent license appropriate to the position(s). Board Certification or Eligibility within specialty is also required. Interest in teaching is essential. The applicant must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching.
