    Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital has been providing exemplary care with uncompromising compassion in the area for more than 45 years A small animal practice providing basic care, as well as advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures, digital radiology, ultrasound, full-service dental care, cold laser therapy and pain management for dogs and cats. We also have a skin specialist Vet on Staff

    Consider joining our practice as an Associate Veterinarian We are seeking to add a Full Time, highly motivated Veterinarian to accommodate our high-volume patient appointment schedule. We have a tremendous, family oriented staff including four highly collaborative doctors and excellent supporting staff, all with 20+ years of service within the hospital. The opportunity also offers great mentorship to learn from very experienced veterinarians in a highly collaborative environment.

    Our team has a strong partnership with clients built on clear, consistent communication and education. We have a very loyal following among our extended pet families throughout the community. We are a well-established practice with a diverse caseload. We practice quality medicine in a warm and friendly facility

    We focus on a very high standard of medicine while working with the client to develop a manageable patient care plan. Our hospital stresses preventive care, dentistry, exceptional medical workups & treatments, surgery, as well as behavior and nutrition counseling in a high service and family friendly environment.

    We are looking for just the right individual with 1+ years of experience in general medicine and surgery to join our dynamic and compassionate team, and will consider recent graduates with exceptional medicine and communication skills. The right candidate will have a strong interest in medicine, be client-oriented, have strong client education skills, and be a team player.

    You need to be a person of good character, customer service oriented, hard working, detail oriented, thorough, timely, a good communicator, friendly, and teachable,

    Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

    · DVM or VMD degree

    · A current Pennsylvania license or ability to obtain prior to start date

    · Prefer at least 1 year of experience, but new graduates are also highly encouraged within our highly collaborative and mentorship focused practice

    · Some surgical skills preferred AND a desire to work with clients delivering consistent quality of medical care to our patients
