- Communicate the company's business development strategy to investors and analysts.
- In collaboration with the CEO and CSO, will introduce the biotech and pharmaceutical innovation pipeline, licensing positions, and related activities to showcase growth opportunities.
- Articulate Gyres financial story, linking business development activities to financial performance.
- Plan and execute roadshows and investor meetings, focusing on the company's business development initiatives.
- Issue press releases and related disclosures under SEC regulations.
- BA/BS in biology or related life science major, advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of investor relations experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or other life science company.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets.
- Well versed in SEC and FDA regulations impacting investor and other external communications
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communications skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of capital markets and the financial statements and valuation models used by investors and analysts.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret scientific and financial data.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with investors and stakeholders.
