Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to fill a locum position in San Antonio, TX.
As a key member of our healthcare network, you will provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient obstetric care, support maternal health services, and collaborate seamlessly with hospital teams.
This role offers an excellent platform to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment while benefiting from competitive pay and flexible scheduling.
Required Skills:
MD or DO license in Texas (or eligible for Texas licensing)
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Current and valid DEA and Texas medical licenses
Proven experience in obstetrics and hospitalist medicine
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently while coordinating with hospital staff and specialists
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience as an OB Hospitalist or similar inpatient obstetric role
Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish-speaking skills
Familiarity with hospital EMR systems
Experience with high-risk obstetric care protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice, preferably in a hospital-based setting
Active TX state medical license or eligible for licensing renewal
Other Requirements:
Ability to start on the scheduled date of 12/31/2025
Committed to providing compassionate patient care
Willingness to travel if needed for assignment, with travel reimbursement provided when applicable
