    Responsibilities:
    • Provide support and participate with customer/sales for design, development, and fabrication as "expert" resource for the Vibracoustic product line.
    • Work with customer engineering team on advance product development, timely execution of prototype programs, support customer technical requests and help win the new programs.
    • Coordinate/drive proactive customer activities in cooperation with sales with the target to acquire new business opportunities.
    • Establish and maintain close relationship with NVH and engineering departments at customers ensuring effective communication.
    • Be a key team member in support of product/business strategy development.
    • Define and actively monitor project budgets.
    • Share voice of customer input for innovation needs, project prioritization, and project support.
    • Travel to customer sites will be required as part of product development and customer support activity.
    • Provide voice of customer for management, technical direction, and communication for all assigned programs as directed by the APQP system or the employee's supervisor.
    • Provide Engineering and voice customer support to the Cost Estimating Department utilizing technical knowledge, experience, and customer requirements knowledge
    • Provide information and technical direction to purchasing/supply base with respect to customer needs, product knowledge, drawing requirements and interpretation.
    • Support all required activity for a timely completion of the product development cycle from initial design concept, GDT, prototype processing, and product launch in accordance with customer requirements.
    Qualifications:
    • BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
    • Five years' experience in project/program management and product development preferred.
    • Experience with new business & strategy development preferred.
    • Strong presentation, organization, problem solving, and communication skills required.
    • Linear Damper and Driveline product knowledge a plus, project management experience required.
    • Onsite: Must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate to the Farmington Hills, MI area.
