    de Beaubien, Simmons, Knight, Mantzaris & Neal, d/b/a/ DSK Law, established in 1976 is a law firm with four offices in Florida; seeking a full time Accounts Payable Specialist to work in the Orlando office. This is an in-office full-time position. To learn more about the firm, please visit

    Summary:

    Responsibilities

    • Review all invoices, for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
    • Work with a very high volume, with minimal supervision, prioritize and anticipate work needs, work well under occasional periods of pressure and short deadlines
    • Assign vendors, match invoice and code with g/l account number, input invoices into the accounting system
    • Ensure accuracy of vendor terms, check totals
    • Ensure W-9's are collected before vendor is set up
    • Always keeps client and firm information confidential; understands and implements general rules of ethical behavior applicable to lawyers
    • Process expense reports
    • Effectively interact and respond quickly to client, vendor and employee inquiries to resolve issues and meet commitments
    • Research and communicate status of unpaid invoices and credits
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • No supervisory responsibilities, reports to the accounting manager

    Qualifications

    • Accounts Payable experience of 5+ years, previous experience; prior law firm experience is a plus
    • Advanced data entry skills required with ability to complete high volume of work while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
    • Understands regulatory standards and compliance requirements
    • Able to work independently
    • Must be extremely organized and a self-starter
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • High degree of initiative and ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
    • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with individuals at many levels of internal and external organizations
    • Work in a team environment with a customer service focus
    • Microsoft Office knowledge with Excel and Outlook experience
