- Assists with collection and verification of employee timekeeping data.
- Ensures accuracy of data between the timekeeping and ERP systems.
- Processes payroll (data entry/file upload) in ERP system.
- Completes necessary tasks and reports for certified payroll.
- Ensures accuracy of federal and state certified payroll.
- Maintains accurate employee records and payroll transactions.
- Efficiently assist with payroll tasks and strictly follow company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state certified payroll reporting.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist employees with any inquiries and promptly resolve any issues related to payroll in a professional manner.
- Provide support in the completion of payroll related audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll records at all times.
- Assist with Standard Operating Procedures for the payroll department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll, preference in Construction payroll.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
