    Description

    Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a premier provider of workforce management solutions, is in partnership with a reputable healthcare fund management company to hire a Business Liaison Manager. This role is pivotal in managing union and employer interactions for the Hospitality and Alaska health plans. Key responsibilities include leading responses to plan information queries, conducting benefit plan comparisons, aiding in negotiation processes, and facilitating the onboarding and transition of members into the plans. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with senior management to review and prepare necessary health and welfare documentation for Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and Memorandums of Agreement (MOA), and work closely with the contribution accounting vendor and payroll audit team to ensure specific plan management adherence to CBA standards.
    Job Functions and Duties

    • Collaborate with management to review and analyze health and welfare provisions in Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs).
    • Prepare benefit plan comparisons and analyses, review bargaining tools, and maintain key reports and data.
    • Coordinate communications and processes with third-party administrators (TPAs) and vendors, focusing on new employer onboarding and network access.
    • Facilitate legal reviews of CBAs/MOAs and participate in automating and streamlining the bargaining process.
    • Respond to inquiries from bargaining parties and manage essential data and communications related to the plans.
    • Support training and implementation of plans through various formats and handle escalated issues concerning employer billing and claims.
    • Focus on process improvement, relationship building, and cross-functional team collaboration.
    • Uphold the Fund's principles of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and its BETTER Values in all workplace conduct.
    Essential Qualifications
    • Requires 5 to 7 years of experience in a union or Taft-Hartley environment, with a strong background in health insurance and welfare benefits plans.
    • Preferred knowledge of Taft-Hartley Plans and experience in a union environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Excel, with preferred fluency in Spanish.
    • Strong project management, organizational, research, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Salary range for this position: $81,400~$101,700. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

    Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) with potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
