    Job Summary:
    United Staff Group is dedicated to providing quality education to special needs children.A Special Education Teacher is responsible for crafting and delivering tailored instruction to address the distinct requirements of students with disabilities. They diligently track and evaluate student advancement in relation to instructional targets and personalized objectives. Additionally, they fulfill the role of IEP Case Manager for designated students, overseeing their individualized education plans. Moreover, they collaborate closely with general education teachers in a co-teaching capacity.

    Responsibilities:
    • Deliver research-based instruction in small group settings to students with special needs, employing data-driven techniques.
    • Provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities within general education classrooms through co-teaching with peers.
    • Monitor and evaluate student progress towards instructional objectives and individualized goals.
    • Manage assigned students' cases, adhering to state-mandated procedures including organizing meetings and drafting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
    • Maintain regular communication with parents and the IEP team, providing ongoing updates on student progress and documenting interactions in the Student Information System (SIS).
    • Attend relevant professional development sessions and actively engage in school-wide initiatives such as Caring School Community (CSC) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
    • Cultivate positive relationships with students and families, fostering a supportive learning environment.
    • Ensure compliance with all deadlines and assignments, both individual and departmental.

    Education and certifications
    • Bachelor Degree (required).
    • PA Special Education Teaching Certification (required).

    Position: Special Education Teacher K-12

    Position (School): Onsite

    Reports to: Special education Director

    School Year- New School Year

    Job Type: Contract.

    Expected hours: 40 per week.
