    Title: Cleaning Technician

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Classification: Non-Exempt

    Reports to: Regional Manager

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Cleaning Technician is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in performing all cleaning duties and

    functions required for efficient operation of the apartment community.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Be accountable to the manager and maintenance during normal office hours.
    2. Check in with manager before and after all work is completed.
    3. Document worked hours accurately and efficiently. Submit by assigned deadline.
    4. Inform Manager or Maintenance Staff of repairs that are needed.
    5. Performs other duties as assigned.
    Cleaning Duties
    1. Vacuum weekly with equipment as provided by property.
    2. Clean units prior to tenant move-ins.
    3. Wipe down handrails.
    4. Clean all windows with glass cleaner.
    5. Spot clean tables and chairs as needed.
    6. Washers and dryers should be moved two times a year and cleaned beneath and behind, with
    manager/maintenance assistance.

    Maintenance Assistant Duties
    1. Perform light maintenance duties as assigned after unit turns and grounds duties are performed.
    2. Perform all maintenance requests correctly and within the allotted time frame as assigned by the
    Maintenance Technician or Site Manager
    1. Provide Site Manager with the initialed completed request with minimal call-backs.
    2. Perform inspections with manager and smoke detector inspections
    3. Repairs and maintains community equipment and the physical structure of the communities as
    assigned
    1. Responsible for care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the
    property.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
    • Knowledge of cleaning for a managed property.
    • Knowledge of light maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and other
    duties as assigned.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Behavior supports positive work environment. Examples: lead by example, friendly and good
    communication skills.
    • Knowledge of fair housing regulations are helpful.
    Requirements

    Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
