We are seeking a skilled Retina Surgeon to become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing advanced eye care services.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a respected community practice offering a clear partnership path.Practice Overview
You'll join a team of five physicians and three optometrists.
Work in a modern facility with access to advanced diagnostic tools.
Participate in optional clinical research through the Southwest Retinal Research Center.
Benefit from a high degree of surgical autonomy with multiple ASC partnerships.
Schedule
A four-day workweek with two days in Durango and one at a satellite location.
One dedicated surgery day per week.
Shared call responsibilities on a 1:6 rotation, phone-based with no hospital rounds.
Flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranging from $500,000 - $600,000.
Incentive model with 35% of net collections over threshold.
Two-year partnership track with ownership opportunities.
Comprehensive benefits including employer-paid health insurance, relocation assistance, and retirement plan.
Candidate Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
Experience in vitreoretinal surgery preferred.
Eligible for licensure in both Colorado and New Mexico.
Comfortable with high patient volume and diverse surgical cases.
