    Prizm Electrical Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Estimator to join our team in Denver, CO. This position will be responsible for preparing bid documents, cost estimates and final proposals for electrical projects, communicating with clients, vendors, engineers, architects, building officials, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

    Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
    • Work within highly collaborative design and estimating sessions with Sr. Account Managers and Project Management to strategize and prepare workflow to create accurate, timely estimates and proposals.
    • Efficiently acquire, organize, and analyze bid document packages from the inception of bid opportunity through final price proposal.
    • Efficiently and thoroughly understand the RFP documents including project schedule, general conditions, general, misc. and MEP specifications, and construction drawings.
    • Compile project statistics including but not limited to identifying the AHJ, Effective Sales Rates, Electrical Contractor Licensing Requirements and GSA per diems.
    • Efficiently and thoroughly prepare and manage outgoing vendor bid packages and incoming vendor proposals ensuring compliance with Company RFQ including project specification requirements.
    • Understanding bid proposal/construction drawing documents and participating in design build value engineering solutions resulting is cost comparative analysis deliverables.
    • Create / revise proposals for the company's current and prospective jobs.
    • Create / revise estimates in Accubid estimating software.
    • Engage in preconstruction and post bid proposal dialogue with noted stakeholders.
    • Participate in project closeout and review procedures.
    • Participate in occasional site visits.
    Education and Experience:
    • Working knowledge and understanding of estimating concepts including the capability to quantify and measure electrical installation means and methods.
    • At minimum, a working knowledge and understanding of Accubid (or similar) estimating software.
    • Working experience in any one or multiple capacities as an Electrical Estimator, Electrical Engineer, or a similar role in Construction industry.
    • A valid Master or JM electrician license will be given favorable consideration for this position.
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management will be given favorable consideration for this position.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Some lifting (up to 55 lbs).
    • This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Ability to pay a close eye to detail for accuracy.
    • Ability to solve complex problems in an efficient manner.
    • Sound organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
    • Ability to check multiple data sources.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent analytics skills.
    • Very limited opportunity to travel on an as needed basis.
    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70-110k per year
