    Description

    Propel Insurance, an AleraGroup company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

    • Responsible for posting all incoming payments accurately and submitting daily deposits to the bank.
    • Tasks include:
    • Researching and providing check details as needed
    • Reconciling daily deposits with bank records
    • Finding statements via online carrier portals
    • Comparing client premium allocations with accounting records and carrier statements
    • Tracking unclaimed property
    • Additional responsibilities:
    • Assisting with special projects
    • Supporting the accounting team with various tasks
    • Preparing journal entries
    • Requirements:
    • Proficiency in analyzing and manipulating large data sets
    • Accurate processing of daily transactions
    • Minimum 1 year of office experience
    • System knowledge:
    • Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sort, Filter, Etc.
    • Outlook and Word proficiency
    • Desired skills in an ideal candidate:
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work efficiently and precisely
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Team player with independent work capabilities
    • Positive mindset

      • Salary Range: $48,000 to $55,000 per year DOE
