    Soliant Health is collaborating with a school district in Houston, TX, to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This position will include SLPA supervision, so CCC candidates are only being considered at this time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate students' speech and language abilities through assessments and observations
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
    • Conduct therapy sessions to improve students' speech, language, and social communication skills
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and therapeutic needs
    • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
    • Provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers on strategies to support students' communication development
    • Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Texas state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
    • Experience working with pediatric population, particularly in an educational setting, is desirable
    • Knowledge of various communication disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
