The Buehler's Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for all aspects of Front of House (FOH) or the dining area to ensure that our loyal customers have an exceptional dining experience each and every time they choose to dine with us.A typical day for an Assistant Kitchen Manager may include: Greet and seat our customers in a timely manner as they enter the restaurant Ensure the customer is timely greeted by the server, a drink order is taken and assist if needed Ensure the tables are cleaned and sanitized promptly after customers leave and assist busser as needed Assist with server duties to ensure customer satisfaction and overall efficiency Hire onboard train new employees for FOH along with ongoing training for existing employees Schedule FOH employees to ensure proper coverage for lunch dinner rush special holidays Schedule FOH employees possibly attend catering events as needed Responsible employee recognition retention engagement Assist BOH catering food prep including operating grill fryers related equipment Set-up organize prepare food using established production procedures systems if needed Comply sanitation health personal hygiene standards housekeeping keep all work areas clean Observe proper food handling techniques pass required food safety courses Store properly safely mark date item Follow procedures keeping yourself our customers coworkers safe Responsible ordering maintaining stock levels inventories Table Touches exceed customer expectations Uphold Buehlers policies workplace free harassment bullying discrimination Work Food Service Manager meet financial goals control waste assist inventories Some locations assist Community Room duties Other duties directed assigned support total store operations
