    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Buyer to support our client's manufacturing team.

    The ideal candidate will excel at scheduling, tracking, reconciling, and following up to ensure production schedules align with the company's objectives.

    You will be responsible for coordinating delivery releases, expediting purchased items, and providing support to various departments.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain production schedules to support the Master Build Schedule and company goals.
    Monitor raw material deliveries, identify inventory shortages, and make adjustments to meet production timelines.
    Create and update purchase orders with accurate delivery dates, ensuring prompt deliveries of purchased items and consumables.
    Coordinate with vendors for returns due to damages or non-conforming materials.
    Reconcile purchase order quantity and receipt discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory records.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors through consistent communication.

    Use Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and Graphs) and ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/QAD to track and analyze operational data.


    Qualifications:
    An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field, or 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain.
    At least 3+ years of experience in a support role within a manufacturing environment.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective interpersonal abilities.
    Flexible and adaptable to change, with a "can-do" attitude and high integrity.
    Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
    Proficiency in basic mathematical operations, including converting units of measurement, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
