    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required
    • Bachelor's Degree in education or related field from an accredited college or university
    • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children/students with emotional or behavioral needs
    Preferred
    • Master's degree in a related field
    • Valid Texas Teacher's Certification
    Special Knowledge & Skills
    • Knowledge of function-based intervention planning for developing behavior change strategies that focus on reducing problem behavior and increasing more appropriate behavior
    • Knowledge of collecting, analyzing, and disaggregating data to improve student behavior and evaluate behavior plans and goals.
    • Knowledge of the framework, positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), social-emotional learning (SEL), restorative practices, trauma-informed practices, and family engagement
    • Ability to assist in functional behavior assessments and the development of tiered behavior intervention plans
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other behavior solution team members for the implementation of best practices around the process
    • Ability to interpret data
    • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and students
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
