    Description
    Policy Development Specialist

    Help lead the assessment, development, review, and integration of IA and IT policies and plans within the customer's environment.

    Work with federal program leads from a prioritized work plan to coordinate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to draft policy documents, including formal guidance and procedural documents, facilitate internal and external reviews, adjudicate input, coordinate for review and Director's signature, and assist with implementation and lifecycle management.

    Evaluate how policies and plans stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards.

    Through the use of regulatory and guidance documents, including Executive Orders, Intelligence Community Directives, Guidance and Memoranda, Department of Energy Orders, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and International Standards Organization artifacts, SANS, and EC-Council standards.

    Lead the identification, development, and modification of standard policies and plans to support enterprise operations, continuity and contingency planning and programming, and DOE and Intelligence Community compliance.

    7+ years of experience with policy or plans development
    Experience with DoD or Federal Government supporting policy and plan development
    Experience writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence
    Experience briefing clients and team members on technical, policy, and functional issues
    Top Secret clearance
    Bachelor's degree
    Experience supporting senior-level organizations
    Experience with the development of DoD-level policies or strategies
    Experience with cybersecurity risk analysis
    Top Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
