Are you a Licensed Audiologist seeking to take on an assessment role?
Would you find it fulfilling to support the Veteran community?
We are searching for an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Before meeting you, the Veteran submits the claim. All their medical records are uploaded to a computer portal for your review during the appointment. During the session, you will perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Additionally, you will fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal, which serves as the medical evidence for the VA to determine the Veteran's benefits.
The Audiologist will not provide any medical treatments or devices.
This role involves reviewing and assessing an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule - 2 days/week - Monday, Friday
This is an IN-PERSON role that provides 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. There are no evening shifts, on-call duties, weekend work, or involvement in hearing aid sales.
