    In this position you serve as an experienced Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment to develop ServiceNow software applications.


    You will support a federal customer to work with stakeholders to understand and document business and system requirements and processes.

    You will perform business process analysis activities with the user community to define and document end-to-end business processes.

    Serve as a Senior IT Business Analyst


    Responsibilities include:
    Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD)
    B.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience
    Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements and user stories.

    Demonstrated skill in effective decomposition of business objectives into requirements for a product backlog to be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.

    Ability to understand the day-to-day operational needs of customers and identify areas for improvement in business processes and proposed solutions.

    Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Agile software development methodology.
    Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction and management oversight.

    Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.

    Seven (7) years of direct scheduling experience, preferably working on other large Government contracts.
    Experience with software testing
    IT helpdesk experience
    Experience with ServiceNow
    Previous experience as a Scrum Master
    Previous experience as a Business Analyst
    Attention to detail and resourcefulness
    Seven (7) years of direct scheduling experience, preferably working on other large Government contracts.
    Expert at using Kanban boards and agile methodologies
    Expert of Scrum methodologies
    Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
    Strong Microsoft Office experience, predominantly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

    Self-starter with the ability to work independently with limited to no guidance

    Pay Range:
    The proposed salary range for this position is $82,100-$172,400.

    There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
