Overview

The purpose of this job is to perform the duties of Cook in accordance with company standards for satisfactory performance. If you enjoy creating delicious meals and making a positive impact where you work, this could be the opportunity for you

Essential Duties and responsibilities are as follows (other duties may be assigned):

Expedites all menu items accurately.
Standardizes recipes.
Sets up and breakdowns the cooking line.
Assists in storing all deliveries - daily requisitions.
Cooks on the line, adhering to ticket times of 8 minutes or less.
Assists in any area needed when time allows.
Informs the Executive Chef immediately of safety issues - equipment failure.
Informs the Executive Chef immediately of food quality issues - food spoilage.
Maintains sanitation - proper handling.
Exhibits a 'can do' attitude and total cooperation.
Performs any reasonable request of management.

Qualifications

Experienced in basic line cooking - making soups, stocks, and sauces. Must have excellent organizational skills. Experienced and organized in line set up. Able to assist in menu planning. Communicates effectively with all other staff. Open to learning new methods of cooking.

Prior experience preferred.
