- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an SLP, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
